My motivation for both watercolor drawings was Palm Springs Mt San Jacinto, the 8500 foot high steep mountain that is the back drop for iconic Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs, California. The desert is pure magic and Hollywood knows it too... Palm Springs has been their playground for almost a century. Many famous movie scripts have been written in our desert resorts.
